Who We Are
This notice covers the spiritual guidance, personal development, and consulting services offered on this website by AltPsych, LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as Kenwood Therapeutics ("we," "us").
We are a separate company from Kenwood Therapeutics, PLLC. That company provides licensed psychiatric care and has its own legal notice and privacy notice, linked at [LINK]. Services from AltPsych, LLC are not provided by, supervised by, or billed through Kenwood Therapeutics, PLLC.
What Our Services Are, and What They Are Not
Our services are non-clinical guidance, consultation, and counseling for personal growth, reflection, and spiritual exploration. They currently include [SERVICE NAMES].
Our services are not healthcare. They are not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or medical care of any kind. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental, emotional, behavioral, or physical condition. We do not prescribe or advise on medication.
Our services do not replace licensed care. If you have, or think you may have, a mental health or medical condition, please see a licensed provider. Do not stop, change, or delay any treatment based on anything we say or provide.
No healthcare protections apply. Because we are not a healthcare provider, the confidentiality rules that govern healthcare, such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and professional privilege, do not apply to our services. We may suggest that you seek licensed care. Any referral is only a suggestion, and you are free to choose any provider. If we refer you to Kenwood Therapeutics, PLLC, please know it shares common ownership with us.
About Our Practitioner
Our services are provided by Reverend Dr. Britta Kendall. Dr. Kendall is a metaphysical practitioner and ordained minister. She holds doctoral degrees in clinical (PsyD) and metaphysical (MpsyD) psychology in addition to ministry (DMin) with a specialization in pastoral counseling. She also possesses master’s degrees in general and clinical psychology as well as metaphysical science along with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and metaphysical science. Dr. Kendall is also holds a Certified Critical Incident Stress Management (CCISM) credential.
Our practitioners are not licensed as psychologists, counselors, therapists, social workers, physicians, nurses, or any other healthcare professional, in Washington or in any other state. Any academic degree, training, or certification we mention describes education only. It is not a license and does not authorize the practice of any licensed profession.
If you want a licensed professional, you can check any provider's license through the licensing board in your state. In Washington, that is the Department of Health's provider credential search.
Tools and Methods We Use
Our practitioners may use reflective, interpretive, and intake tools during sessions to guide conversation and reflection. These are working tools chosen by the practitioner. They are not sold as separate products.
These tools are:
Not tests or assessments. They do not measure, evaluate, or screen for any mental health, cognitive, or medical condition.
Not scientifically validated. They are spiritual and interpretive traditions, offered for reflection and meaning-making.
Not predictions. Nothing we share is a forecast of future events or outcomes.
Any written material we give you reflects the practitioner's interpretation. Please use it as one input to your own reflection, not as a conclusion about who you are or what you should do.
In an Emergency
We do not provide crisis or emergency services, and we do not monitor messages outside scheduled sessions.

If you are in emotional distress or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7 in the U.S.
If a concern about safety comes up during a session, we will pause and encourage you to contact emergency or licensed services.
